It was a perfect evening for the 1st Annual Tree Lighting at Parmelee Farm. More than 100 residents turned out to celebrate the holiday season. Christmas carols filled the air led by Jamie Lehane on the keyboard. First Selectwoman Catherine Iino pulled the switch to light the charming tree, featuring hundreds of white lights, located on the front lawn of the farmhouse. A big thank you to Tim Gannon and his crew for organizing the event. The Killingworth Women's Organization, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club all contributed. This was the first evening event at the farm. It was made possible by extra lighting donated by Katherine and Larry Marotti, Les Gorski, and the Killingworth Fire Department.
