Parmelee Farm Clean Up Days
Spring clean up days are planned for Saturday, October 15th
and Sunday October 16th. The crew normally shows up around 10:00 AM and stays until around 3:00 PM.A great deal of progress was made on the initial clean up days, but there is still more work ahead. Check back here for more information on future clean up days. We are especially in need of experienced workers with chainsaws.

Attend a Meeting
The Parmelee Farm Steering Committee meets on the first Thursday
of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Town Offices main conference room. Visitors
are welcome.The Municipal Land Use Committee meets on the third Thursday of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Town Offices main conference room. Visitors are welcome.
Parmelee Farm Clean Up Days
The Parmelee Farm Steering Committee holds clean up days several time a year
to maintain and restore the property. Stay an hour or all day; all hands are
welcome. Farm
work days planned for the 3rd Saturday in April and the 3rd Saturday and Sunday
in October with rain dates in each case for the following Saturdays
Community Service Opportunities
There are many opportunities for Community Service hours on the farm. Contact a member of the Parmelee Farm Steering Committee or your secondary school or high school counselor for information.
Workshops
Do you have an idea for a workshop? The Parmelee Farm Steering Committee will
help you design a workshop for children or adults.
Expertise
Looking for a way to get involved? The farm is always in need of volunteers
to participate in planning, landscaping, gardening, construction and many other
areas. Contact a member of the Steering Committee to discuss your interest.
