The property is just south of the Route 148/Route 81 intersection. The entrance, is located just north of the entrance to the Haddam-Killingworth Middle School.

The entrance is open daily for general admission, but may be gated for certain events. Approval for large gatherings or groups must be obtained in advance by contacting a member of the Parmelee Steering Committee.

There is parking onsite with overflow parking available at the middle school during non-school hours. The closest parking lot is located at the entrance to the school. A marked path to the property is located just east of the northern most softball field.

Portable restroom facilities are available near the gardens' shed.
